1. Scope and who we are
This Policy describes how TuziSoft LLC d/b/a JunkHQ (“JunkHQ,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when businesses evaluate or use the JunkHQ platform, visit our platform website, create an account, communicate with us, or use workforce features.
When a junk-removal company uses JunkHQ to serve its household or commercial customers, that company controls the customer information and JunkHQ generally processes it on the company’s instructions. The company’s generated website has a separate notice naming that company. This Policy does not replace that notice.
2. Categories of information we collect
- Account and business information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, credentials, roles, company contact details, business registration, EIN-related and carrier-registration information, licenses, service regions, and configuration.
- Customer and job information: customer contact details, street addresses, job descriptions, messages, preferred and booked dates, before/after photographs, handwritten or electronic signatures, estimates, appointments, disposal routes, and completion records.
- Workforce information: employee identity and contact details, roles, schedules, timecards, wage rates, payroll estimates, route activity, and job actions.
- Transaction information: payment status, amount, method, processor references, receipts, disputes, and subscription records. Payment card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by JunkHQ.
- Device and usage information: IP address, user-agent, timestamps, security events, Terms and customer-terms acceptance records, support requests, AI help-assistant conversations, and essential browser storage.
3. Sources
We receive information directly from business users and service customers, automatically from browsers and infrastructure, from a business’s invited users, and from providers such as payment, identity, email, text messaging, address geocoding, mapping, routing, and hosting services.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We use information to provide and support the platform; generate and manage quotes; provide AI-assisted quoting, message drafting, and in-dashboard help; schedule and route work; deliver email and SMS communications; process payments; document completion; administer accounts, subscriptions, staff schedules, timecards, and payroll estimates; secure the service; detect abuse; troubleshoot and improve functionality; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims. Depending on context, processing is necessary to perform a contract, comply with law, serve legitimate interests, or act on consent.
5. Disclosure and third parties
We disclose information to the customer business that controls it; authorized users; vendors acting for us; payment and identity providers; professional advisers; authorities when lawfully required; and a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer. Service and facility address strings and related request metadata are sent to Geocodio to convert addresses into geographic coordinates. Those coordinates and pseudonymous route details are then sent to SimpleRouting.io for distance calculation and route optimization. If a business connects QuickBooks Online, the customer and transaction records it chooses to export are sent to Intuit. Current vendors that may process Customer Data are listed on our Subprocessor List.
JunkHQ does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Services are intended for business users who are at least 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
6. Tracking disclosures
JunkHQ uses essential cookies or browser storage for authentication, appointment-management sessions, security, and preferences. Payment pages may load Stripe technology needed to complete a transaction. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising trackers. Because there is no common industry response for browser “Do Not Track” signals, our sites do not respond to them. We will update this Policy before beginning materially different tracking.
7. Retention
We retain information according to the purpose, contractual commitments, legal requirements, security needs, and dispute risk. Typical operational periods are documented in our written retention schedule: unbooked quotes and messages for 24 months; job records, photos, signatures, payment and tax-supporting records for 7 years; acceptance evidence for 7 years after the relationship or transaction; workforce time and pay records for at least 4 years or longer where local law requires; and security logs for 12 months. Deleted production data may remain in encrypted rolling backups for up to 35 days before expiration. Legal holds override routine deletion.
8. Security and incidents
We use safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, managed storage, authentication, logging controls, and restricted access. No method is completely secure. We assess suspected incidents and provide legally required notices to affected customers or individuals.
9. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on location and context, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction and may appeal a decision. We verify identity before fulfilling a request and may deny or limit a request where law permits. If your information belongs to a junk-removal company, submit the request to that company using its website notice; we assist the company as processor. For JunkHQ-controlled information, use our privacy request instructions or email owen@tuzisoft.com. You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in the message, and opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP.
10. International processing
JunkHQ and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries; our AI-assisted quoting, help-assistant, and SMS-texting-agent vendor processes data outside the United States. Where required, we use contractual or other approved transfer protections. Data sent to that vendor is limited to contact and job-description information -- names, phone numbers, addresses, job descriptions, photographs, and message text -- and does not include government ID or Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation tied to a device identifier, biometric or health data, or the other categories that the U.S. Department of Justice's bulk sensitive personal data rule restricts, so this processing does not constitute a restricted transaction under that rule.
11. Changes and contact
